Our History

Holden Beach Seafood originated in 1965 as a family business specializing in local oysters by Phillip and Delorise Robinson.   They started by working in the local waters themselves and still do today.  As the Robinson family grew, so did the business.  They soon began packing out shrimp boats at the docks down at the old ferry. 

Holden Beach had become a vacation destination to many and the target of several hurricanes.  Therefore, the location of the family business was moved to Hwy 130. 

Today we supply seafood up and down the east coast through distributors, restaurants and right to you from our retail market.  We support our local fisherman and community by buying as much local products as possible.
